Sh*t Granola Catholics Say

ordination 088-1
This post is inspired by the very funny Sh*t Girls Say videos, since I don’t have the time to make my own video you will have to imagine my running around and staging all the scenes. Instead I am going to share my take on this very funny trend going on.
  • Try some tea tree oil on that
  • Where do you keep the honey? I need to wash my face.
  • Where do you keep the baking soda, I need to wash my hair.
  • I get my honey from a neighbor
  • My kids don’t drink juice, they however LOVE Kombucha
  • It’s time for Mass
  • It’s time for Vespers
  • Have you been to confession lately ?
  • I love going to Fr. Incognito, he only assigns 3 Hail Mary’s for confession, Fr. Finnagin makes me do community service
  • Make sure you fill your water bottle before we leave the house.
  • I am eating gluten free now
  • I only eat meat I know the farmer/ranchers
  • The ugly fruit always tastes better
  • No you can not put the holy water in your water gun
  • We go through so much baking soda we buy it by the 5lb bag
  • Where do you keep the compost pile?
  • Where do you put your recyclables?
  • Did you hear she named her new baby John Paul?

What things do you catch yourself saying?

Commented from the wrong account, oops haha.

I can relate to the granola part, I'm not Catholic though. :) I really wish someone would make one of the videos for green woman, not just moms. I hate filming stuff or I would do it.

Lisa you crack me up with that comment. If I wasn't going in 5 directions at once I would make a video, but as I type this I am nursing a cold, probably from doing too much.

After living in rural Montana, I can't buy meat in the grocery store because I'm so used to knowing the animal and its provenance before I consume it. (For church dinners, someone would donate the meat and we would joke about how we were literally killing the fatted calf for the occasion.)

Jen, last church dinner I went to the meat was donated but it was donated by a local rancher who I happen to buy my meat from. The meat was Divine, I must say.

How about "Have you tried vinegar yet?"

good one, we buy that stuff by the gallon bucket around here.

You made we laugh with Kombucha! I recently discovered the Synergy drinks with chia seeds at Whole Foods, and I have to fight my youngest daughter for them!

And, like you and Dwija -- I buy vinegar by the gallon, too. Do you have a clothesline? ;)

Thanks for linking up to Saints and Scripture Sunday! Hope to see you again soon!

Oh, we love Synergy drinks but I need to start making my own. My kombucha habit is getting expensive.

We do have a clothesline, just not using it much right now. Since we are in grass fire season. Yes they have that here. But it is wonderful in the summertime. I swear it dries clothes faster than the dryer in the summer.
