Wordless Wednesday– At the Farmer’s Market

We like to take advantage of the farmer markets around here as much as we can. Last time we were there I gave the camera to my oldest. I think we just might have another photographer in the family.

MMmm. I love the market here - it's absolutely huge! But we signed up for a CSA so I don't know how much we'll go. Probably for a breakfast treat!

Jackie, my kids absolutely love going to the Saturday market. So much more to eat on that day. We have a small garden this year but I still like to go to the farmer's market to get what I do not grow.

We were excited when our Farmers' Market started two weeks ago! I love the photo of the radishes--so rotund and red.

Believe it or not what looked like leeks are garlic. Soft neck garlic. I know I thought it was leeks to until I got up close.

I can't wait until our farmer's market looks like that! Right now, there are only salad greens, green onions, and rhubarb.

@GrammyMouse Tails, I have to give the credit for the photos to my oldest daughter, I gave her the camera that day so I could shop. I think she might be seeing a camera of her own in her future.

Great photos! I think kids should have the opportunity to take photos more often, they can come up with some amazing shots sometimes. :)
